Server Rules

Reforged is a small, volunteer-run Rust server built for players who value respect, creativity, and good gameplay. Admins donate their time to make sure things stay enjoyable for everyone — not to babysit bad actors. Abuse, harassment, or toxic behavior will result in an immediate and permanent ban, without appeal.

It all comes down to one rule: use common sense, and don’t be a jerk.

  1. General Conduct

    1. Exploiting, cheating, or using third-party software is strictly prohibited. Report bugs or exploits with /report.
    2. Racism, hate speech, discrimination, or sexual harassment of any kind will result in permanent bans.
    3. Impersonating admins, moderators, or staff is not allowed.
    4. Do not beg for items or troll other players.
    5. No threats of violence or real-life harm toward anyone.
    6. No advertising or spam of any kind.
    7. No inappropriate images, paintings, or /sil signs.
    8. Keep politics and religion out of chat — this is an escape from real life.
    9. Global chat is English only. Team chat may use any language.
    10. Voice chat follows the same behavior rules as text chat — toxicity or griefing will result in mutes or bans.
    11. There is never an OK time to trick or lure a player to their death. Players must enter trap bases on their own will.
    12. Use common sense: if you’re looking for a loophole, you’re probably breaking the rule.
  2. Building Rules

    1. Do not build within 10 foundations of other another player's build
    2. You should only build structures that you are actively using and NO LAND CLAIMING. Use it or lose it.
    3. Do not claim or expand into areas clearly belonging to another active player or clan (bases, signs, etc.).
    4. You may have one ring of external TC coverage beyond your main building. This is to reduce land claiming.
    5. Traps must be fully enclosed inside a base — not in compounds, open areas, or on roofs.
    6. SAM sites may remain active but must not interfere with trade or safe-zone traffic.
    7. Turrets, traps, and auto-defenses may not target players traveling through public or safe areas.
    8. Do not grief other bases by surrounding, blocking entrances, or walling them off.
    9. Building on the edge of PVP domes is prohibited.
    10. Report base exploits or plugin glitches immediately — don’t abuse them.
  3. Team Rules

    1. Clan size limit: 4 players max.
    2. Alt accounts must belong to the same clan as the main.
    3. Do not join clans or groups with the intent to betray, rob, or kill after gaining trust.
    4. All clan members are jointly responsible for the clan’s behavior and rule compliance.
  4. Traps & Bases

    1. No outside traps allowed. They must be FULLY ENCLOSED inside a base. Not in your open compound and not on your roof!
    2. Trap bases are allowed but no luring or misleading signage.
    3. Traps and trap bases must not be placed near safe zones or Town zones.
    4. SAMs are allowed to be outside and turned on at all times. They only target Attack Helis until purge.
    5. Traps are not protected and can be destroyed by anyone.
    6. Signs that lure players to traps are forbidden.
    7. Players may not place signs near trap bases indicating the location.
  5. Monument & Event Rules

    1. Small Oil, Military Tunnels, and Missile Silo are PVE events that auto claim by meeting criteria stated when entering the zone.
    2. Air Event, Armored Train, Convoy, Sputnik, and Water Event get auto-locked to the first clan that does enough damage.
    3. Players must be allowed to complete PvE events uninterrupted, even in death.
    4. PVE events, monuments, and abandoned player base raids may NOT be countered or counter-looted. If someone is doing the event/monument/raid, leave the area.
    5. If another clan or player is doing the event — leave the area.
    6. Air Event, Armored Train, Convoy, Sputnik, and Water Event auto-lock to the first clan that does sufficient damage.
    7. You may not grief or intentionally interfere once a players’s ownership is established.
    8. PvE deaths from scientists, zombies, bosses, heli, or horde are not considered events.
  6. PVP Rules

    1. The PVP areas are indicated by static gray domes that encompass specific zones & monuments. Cargo is PVP at all times, but will not have a bubble.
    2. Temporary PVP domes are enacted anywhere the Attack Heli is shot down, where the Daily Airdrop lands, and event airdrops.
    3. The box to the right of your toolbar will indicate which area you are in, indicated by PVE, PVP, or PVP Delay.
    4. PVP delay will last for 15 seconds after leaving a PVP zone. You can be shot and killed by other players in PVP & PVP delay during this time.
    5. Temporary PVP domes are enacted anywhere the Attack Heli is shot down, where the Daily Airdrop lands, and event airdrops.
    6. Do not attempt any events or hostile actions within any Safe Zones or Town. Don't fight heli. Don't engage convoy.
    7. Do not 'edge-camp' PVP lines. Players must fully enter a PVP dome and remain in that dome to participate.
    8. No downing Attack Heli where it can place a PVP bubble inside town or on a player to force them into PVP.
    9. Looting in PVP is allowed, but could discourage players from wanting to PVP in the future. You get to decide how the community views you.
    10. Do not team up in PVP. If you want to team you should be in the same clan.
  7. Building Protection

    1. Player storages and containers can be looted at any time. Lock everything!
    2. Player buildings get 48 hours of offline damage protection.
    3. After 48 hours of inactivity, player bases can be damaged and are raidable by anyone.
    4. The 48 hour raid protection is reset each time the building owner or a clan member of the building owner logs in.
    5. Raid protection ONLY applies to building parts you or your clan member placed. A base you raid and slap a TC on will NOT get protection.
    6. Players who log off or crash get a 60 minute safety timer that makes them unlootable and kill-proof.
    7. Sleepers may be killed or looted after the 60 minute safety timer ends.
  8. Raiding

    1. When attempting to damage a base with any tool/weapon, a pop-up saying PROTECTED will show if the building is not raidable.
    2. When attempting to damage a base with any tool/weapon, a pop-up saying RAIDABLE will show if the building is raidable.
    3. Abandoned Bases will become protected again if the building owner or any of their clanmates logs in.
    4. Do not leave any items you place in abandoned player bases. This includes doors, locks, TCs, etc.
    5. Don't go in a player base unless you plan on getting killed or trapped. If you follow a player inside, they can kill you.
  9. Sleepers

    1. After 60 minutes, sleepers may be killed or looted.
    2. Players who disconnect or crash gain 60 minutes of protection (unlootable and kill-proof).
    3. Sleepers can be killed by TC authorized players.
    4. Sleepers that have been offline for 48 hours can be killed and their backpacks will drop without needing TC access. .
    5. If players log out by your base in your TC range, you can kill them with any weapon.
    6. If players log out in the wild, you can place a TC down to kill them with any weapon.
  10. Wipes, Decay, and Maintenance

    1. Server wipes occur at least every first Thursday of the month during forced wipe. Months with 5 weeks may have a shorter 2 week wipe athe the end of the month.
    2. Admins may remove abandoned or decaying structures between wipes to maintain performance.
    3. Bases inactive for extended periods may be cleared at admin discretion.
  11. Reporting & Appeals

    1. Use /report in game for issues, or open a ticket in Discord for rule violations or appeals.
    2. Do not DM admins for disputes or bans — use official channels.
    3. Admins’ time is limited. Personal disputes that do not break clear rules may not receive intervention.
  12. Final Note

    1. Rules may be updated at any time. It’s your responsibility to stay informed via Discord announcements or /info in game.
    2. Our goal is simple — fair play, good vibes, and a community that respects each other.
